Read the Story Behind the Image

As a photographer, I was hopeful for the chance to experience a foggy morning in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The anticipation hung thick in the air as I set out before dawn, armed with my camera and an eagerness to capture the elusive beauty that often accompanies the dance between mountains and mist. The conditions were right - would the fog appear?

Dawn came and went without the misty mountains that I was hoping to see. But as the sun rose higher in the sky and I drove down Skyline Drive, a light fog appeared and settled in the valleys. The higher I drove, the more the landscape revealed itself in layers, each mountain shrouded in ethereal hues of blue.

The challenge of capturing the essence of the moment was both invigorating and humbling. The fog acted as a transformative veil, softening the edges and infusing the scene with an otherworldly quality. It was as if the mountains themselves whispered secrets, and my camera became a translator, rendering their silent messages into visual poetry.

In the quiet of that foggy morning, I found a sanctuary of stillness. The mountains stood as silent sentinels, and the towns nestled in the valleys below seemed to slumber peacefully. As a photographer, I felt like a silent observer, privileged to witness and capture nature's artistry.

Like the obscured trails in the mist, life often unfolds with hidden paths. Trusting the journey, even when the destination is unclear, can lead to unexpected discoveries and personal growth.

Made from genuine solid wood, our mouldings have a naturally rich finish and grain, and sometimes vary in finish slightly. We take extra care to ensure your frame is free of flaws and meets your high standards, so you will receive a beautiful hand-made product you'll be proud to present and display.

  • Framed image is mounted to a 1/4" foam board inside of the frame.
  • Mats are Polar White.
  • Comes with a protective Acrylic Plexiglass on the front and a paper backing.
  • Comes with a wire hanger and rubber bumpers.

Unframed prints usually ship within 1-2 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.

FRAMED LUSTRE PRINTS
Framed prints usually ship within 5-8 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.

METAL PRINTS
Metal prints usually ship within 2-3 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.

CANVAS WRAPS
Canvas wraps usually ship within 2-3 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.
